A 71-year-old English woman from the city of Bolton, northeast England, took home a prize of £101,224 playing bingo at her local Mecca Bingo Club after winning the National Game prize.
She has been a bingo fan for a long time and visits her local bingo club almost everyday after work with a friend. They have become bingo partners since then and have won some prizes but never one this big, they use to share the money they win and this time was no exception.
The winner was very surprised and said that when she realized that her numbers were the lucky ones she could just remain sited, shaking and crying for the emotion. The woman works as a cleaning lady at a local store and is now planning to retire and live a quieter life.
With the money, she also plans to help her four children and four grandchildren.
