A group of 169 Bingo players from Great Britain have been chosen by luck to share a jackpot of 1 million pounds (approximately 1.7 million dollars) corresponding to Britain's National Game.
Each player will receive 6.300 pounds (approximately 11,178 dollars) after the millionaire Bingo prize is split among the winners; such jackpot was built up throughout August. Although it is clear that none of the winners will become rich, all of them showed their happiness after receiving the news, since this money will let them catch up with some postponed shopping.
Steve Baldwin, communications manager of the National Bingo Game association said: “Throughout the past eight months, we have delivered 3 millionaire prizes and today, the National Bingo Game has made many people happy thanks to this prize”.
Other important jackpots delivered recently to the faithful Bingo players include one of £270,000 corresponding to the first Platinum game celebrated on August 31st and shared by 39 players and the record jackpot of £1.2 million won by a Scottish cleaner at the Club 3000 in Coatbridge.
