A faithful bingo toy camel
Man wins great prize
Fred Payne, a bingo fan, recently won a great prize in bingo. His wife claimed that the reason for the man’s good luck was the toy camel she took to the bingo hall that night.

“I’ve been taking my lucky camel to bingo for eight years and it’s finally paid off,” Marina Payne explained. “He always sits on the edge of the table facing the door because we want to be taking money through the door,” she added. At least this time the use of the lucky charm seems worth it.

Fred Payne attended a game in a UK bingo hall on Wednesday, October 3rd. After 45 calls, Mr. Payne matched all the numbers on his full house. Nobody achieved the same in fewer balls in any of the about 500 clubs that took part across the country.

Bingo is sometimes considered a women’s game, and there’s a reason for that: it is estimated that one in ten women play bingo on a regular basis, while only one in 20 men do the same.
